Where could you go if you had a guide?

Consulting Services

Organizational health is about making a company function effectively by building a cohesive leadership team, establishing real clarity among those leaders, communicating that clarity to everyone within the organization and putting in place just enough structure to reinforce that clarity going forward. You have the expertise about your industry, your team, and the situation your organization is in now. We have the experience, expertise, and tools to guide your team to that health and clarity and truly achieve the long-term vision.

We provide consulting services for leaders, boards, and teams who are hungry for organizational health. We work with organizations of all sizes in a wide variety of industries. Every situation is unique and our consultants customize their work to each client's particular needs, but the building blocks of organizational health are ones we all have in common. Where should we start?

Get Governance Guidance

We help you identify your board's specific governance issues/needs/goals and implement proven principles and practices. Grounded in our models, we've supported organizations of all types and sizes as they've dealt with issues such as boards getting into operations, board/management conflict, difficult board members, lack of direction/focus, and financial crisis. (Boards often benefit from the use of the GEM Assessment as a starting point!)

Engage in Strategic Planning

Strategic planning is an ongoing process. We help clients find their "true north" and move forward in a way that is both smart AND healthy. Our consultants ask probing questions and use engaging activities to bring the board's best ideas to the surface. By the end of our time together, everyone will have contributed to and asserted ownership over the plan.

Leap Forward with a Two-Day Leadership Offsite

The purpose of the Two-Day Leadership Team Offsite is to provide the opportunity for leadership teams to assess their organization’s overall health, cohesiveness, unity, and purpose. Specific action items will be identified for immediate team improvement. This is just one way to launch your team and organization into the language, principles, and wisdom of organizational health, as described in Patrick Lencioni's best-sellers, The Advantage and The Five Dysfunctions of a Team.

Take the Path to Organizational Health

Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither is organizational health. It is gained meeting by meeting, conversation by conversation, decision by decision. Our consultants will work with you on a plan spanning 3-12 months for the implementation of organizational health. You never know what will come up as you tackle the next year, but you don't have to do it alone.

Journey with OrgHealth

Implementing organizational health from the board level, to the C-suite, and down through management requires more than reading a book. Some of our team members have founded OrgHealth, a coaching and consulting group that matches boards and teams with consultants and coaches who have the right expertise and experience to help your company down every step of the road.

Our goal is to walk with our clients on their journey to greater health and effectiveness, not just parachute in and be done. Along the way, our clients often need a diverse range of services, and we are glad to offer expert guides for many areas. Here are a few:

  • Board assessment facilitation (see our tool)

  • Policy setting

  • CEO, chair, and peer evaluation

  • Board-management dynamic

  • Courageous conversations

  • Succession planning

  • Myers-Briggs Type Indicator team training

  • DiSC Personality team training

  • Financial planning

  • Conflict management

  • and much more...

Our Approach

Our consulting approach, outlined in Patrick Lencioni's book, Getting Naked, is to serve our clients with uncommon levels of humility, selflessness, and transparency for the good of the client. Everything we do is practical (not academic), relevant (not touchy feely), and fast (not slow or boring).
